Enjoyed finding characters I'd read about in a prior Highlander book so it's on going but the story line stands on it's own and each story is unique. He does a good job differentiating between the characters so you know who's talking etc. Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why? I would recommend this book to any Highland romance reader.
Immortal (Highlander) - Wikipedia
It has action, suspense, romance - everything you need for a good read. Breanna was the main character and I was already interested in reading more about her after reading Rescued By a Highlander, the previous one in this series.
I love his accent when he is doing the dialog of the men and reading non-dialog. I agree with other reviewers somewhat about his female dialog and it would be better with dual narrators but after the first few pages I get used to him and enjoy the narration very much.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting? I tried very hard to.
I downloaded it to my phone so I could listen while I went about my day. I prefer the longer books because I never want them to end.
HEALING THE HIGHLANDER
Any additional comments? Highland books are my favorite. I do prefer a bit more history about day to day duties of the household staff but romance still gets me every time. Book was awesome I would definitely recommend this series for anyone who truly loves a Highland romance novel. I didn't expect this to be the second book because book one ended with another lady being taken or lead to the Grant's keep but I absolutely loved Brenna's story.

I was listening to the book and immediately thought about Celiac disease. Those kids made me want to laugh and cry at the same time! Loved, loved this book in the series and can't wait for Book 3. It was a struggle to get through! The storyline was poorly written, lacked content and honestly felt like a high schooler wrote it. Antony Ferguson is a great narrator who I love listening to when it comes to Scottish romances so that's what made me download this book. But it was one of the worst romance books I've read.
I loved everything about this novel, I'm so looking forward to listening to the next book in the series.
I liked the story line. But it did get repetitive with the internal dialogue. And the end was odd- as if the author suddenly realized that no one has been killed or kidnapped so added in a few chapters to have something happen. This title is included in Audible Escape.
